TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY (HPA-AN)

Technological University (Hpa-an) is located in Hpa-an Township, Kayin State, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. It is located on field No.(1185), near Ye Thar Village, Hpa-an-Donyin Road, Hpa-an Township, Kayin State. It is about 35.19 acres wide. It is about 7.9 kilometres away from Thanlwin Bridge (Hpa-an) and 12 kilometres from Zwe Ka Bin Mountain.

BACKGROUND HISTORY 

Technological University (Hpa-an) had been started to establish on 6^th September, 1993 as Government Technical High School. It had been transformed as Government Technical College on 28^th December, 2000. On 20^th January, 2007 it was finally upgraded to Technological University (Hpa-an).

In Technological University (Hpa-an), there are four engineering courses such as Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

In order to achieve the quality standard of teaching and learning, and research and development, Technological University (Hpa-an) is linked with other Technological Universities in Myanmar. Teaching syllabuses for the engineering and academic subjects are made up to meet the requirements of the international standards.
